Who we are

Innovative Vitality ABA Inc. provides in-home applied behavior analysis services to children and families in Bakersfield and throughout Kern County, California. This policy describes what happens to information collected through this website, www.innovativevitalityaba.com. It applies to the website only; clinical records created once your family receives services are protected separately, as described below.

What we collect

You can browse every page of this site without giving us any personal information at all. We collect information only when you choose to send it:

• The consultation form. Your name, phone number, email address, your child’s age range, your preferred language, and anything you choose to write in the optional message field.
• Job applications. If you apply for a role, the completed application you email us and anything you include with it.
• Direct contact. Whatever you share when you call, fax, or email us yourself.

The message field on the consultation form is optional on purpose. Share only what you are comfortable sharing there; details about your child’s needs can wait for a private conversation with our clinical team.

What we do not collect

• No accounts, logins, or passwords.
• No payments through this site.
• No advertising trackers and no analytics cookies set by us.
• We do not buy, rent, or sell personal information. Ever.

How we use what you send

To respond to your request, verify insurance benefits when you ask us to, schedule assessments and services, consider your job application, and meet legal and record-keeping obligations that apply to a licensed healthcare provider. That is the whole list.

Who else handles it

A few service providers help this website work, and each one sees only what it needs to:

• FormSubmit transmits consultation-form submissions to our administrative inbox by email. Submissions pass through their servers in order to reach us.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces on this site. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google, which involves your IP address, as with any web request.
• Our email provider stores the messages you send us, the same way any business email works.

We do not share your information with anyone else unless you ask us to (for example, coordinating with your insurance plan) or the law requires it.

Health information and HIPAA

Information you type into a website form is not a medical record. Once your family begins services with us, health information we create or receive about your child is protected health information under HIPAA, and our Notice of Privacy Practices, provided at intake, governs how it is used and disclosed. If you would like that notice before starting services, ask and we will send it.

Children’s privacy

This website is written for parents, guardians, and professionals. We do not knowingly accept form submissions from children under 13. Information about your child reaches us only because you, the parent or guardian, choose to send it.

How long we keep it

Consultation inquiries are kept as long as needed to respond and follow up. If you become a client, information moves into your child’s clinical record and is retained according to healthcare record-retention law. Job applications are kept for the hiring cycle and as employment law requires. Want an inquiry deleted sooner? Ask, and unless a law says otherwise, we will delete it.

Your choices

• You never have to use the form. Call (661) 369-2686 instead; we are happy to talk.
• You can ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing Admin@innovativevitalityaba.com.
• We respond to these requests within 30 days.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because this site does not track visitors in the first place, it behaves the same way whether or not that signal is present.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this website handles information, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Meaningful changes will be noted here plainly, not buried.
